Contrary to what was reported by Bloomberg's Takashi Mochizuki, today's released transcript for the Earning's Call shows that Bloomberg was not truthful in its report.

Yep, they have a pretty good strategy with every PS exclusive. Even games that sold well or were great like Ragnarok and Returnal had so much negative FUD around them.

This whole ordeal seems like an open attempt to damage Square in order to make it more amenable to "collaboration" with Microsoft in line with its unveiled plans for e.g. valve and nintendo. Sony needs to do something about it.
