Not sure about the RROD comment… he seems to think if it was not that issue Somy had no chance in PS3 gen that is false but he console wars is something you see even today in Xbox management where Uncle Phil spread it all time.

The difference is that back then they were under the impression they had a chance, now they only passively aggressively take digs at Sony because they know, they won't bother with answering, it would not work out well for them if Sony started to go after them again.

Sony hasn't shown any interest in talking about Xbox since the PS4 launch days, it never comes up. Sony also doesn't go out of their way to fish for PR point like Phil do with his cringe lines like "when everybody plays we all win", "I don't like the idea of exclusives", "can't wait for this next Sony game"... fuck Phil Spencer, why can't he just go an make some good games for once? What a douchebag.

They still do, Xbox official twitter account and some of their workers are passive aggressive. Sony and Nintendo do not do it. But back then even with Sega and Nintendo, there was always this wars culture. But nowadays from a marketing perspective does not make sense.
