I will do some guesses here...

Microsoft will try to use others platform sales to try to backup their Gamepass dreams.
While that is their choice I should say that is how you don't to business.

You don't one business to sustain another business.
That is crazy.

If Gamepass is not sustainable by itself then releasing games in others platforms won't save it.

They're playing whack-a-mole and losing. Nothing is going to change the fact that Xbox is dead as a platform and MS is now a fully third party pub
