I bet that in a few year the state of Xbox studios will go back to what it was around 2015. All bombed out and depleted, with no relevant IPs. CoD is probably the next Halo. To me this is the most likely outcome, specially if Phil Spencer is kept in charge.

Are all the business, OEM and government contracts for Windows included in the Windows revenue?

Also even if Xbox revenue is higher, profit-wise Windows is significantly more important to Microsoft than Xbox, and in terms of interconnected industry reach/proliferation it'll always remain significantly more important than the gaming division.

I think the hardware sucks. Windows 8.1 should have been Win8.0, but it wasn't as bad if you had a touch enabled laptop/surface device, you know?
