Don't think it was killed. The studio simply had no direction and way too many top chefs in the kitchen. They were doomed the minute they were labeled an 'AAAA' studio lol.

Gears can be great if they think outside the box and try to reinvent the wheel a bit. So all the best to them.

Never got into this series despite having a 360 and playing the first one there. Mid at best from the start. By the second game I was already done with it and could't bother finishing it.
