It's incompetence. Their developers who work on PSN support for PC probably use .NET for everything LOL.
Visual Studio .NET is the most used IDE by game developers.
It is pretty good btw.
Most easy to use, have better debugging / profiling tools, better community support and documentation.
3rd-party tools like UE, Unity, etc all have integration and samples with VS.NET.
nVidia and AMD drivers have extensions and plugins for VS.NET.

I mean why you will use anything other than VS.NET for game development?

Most popular is not the same as better.

First of all, it's Visual Studio, just the IDE, not the platform. Visual Studio is used for quite a few different languages and frameworks. .NET is the platform you're referring to. The language C# is byte-compiled.

Most serious plugin development on Unreal is done in C++, not C#. Other than that, Unity does use C# as an interface language extensively and Godot has rather decent support for C#.

The best game engines themselves are not written in C#, but in C or C++.

There are plenty of reasons and situations where one should not limit oneself to .NET. Starting with portability.

Next PC port is the last GOW game. Expect more details in the next week or so.

I wish it was Bloodborne and Demon Souls, i want to play both those in Native 4k with ray tracing.

Modders will be able to fix them

Those are literally the only Playstation games I will buy on PC. I don't want these boring "cinematic" third person over the shoulder movie games.

Had a great first day with this game, I should've gotten into it sooner when it dropped on PS5. The side quests seem like they are pretty meaty so far.

I'll never understand why they wasted resources porting over Sackboy but not Bloodborne.

The company is legitimately run by out of touch idiots

How can you support Sony after all they have done to the Steam community?
Lol you're still on about that. I never stopped supporting and I don't plan on it. People can make their displeasure known through other means, you just don't want people to buy the game on PC because you want Sony to stop the PC ports, be honest.
