Would like to know the numbers for other Sony exclusives really. As well as how Many SKUs etc etc
Ghost Of Tsushima was like a more polished version of a Ubisoft game
And this is why Sony is moving away from first-party JRPGs because those games just do not sell well worldwide. And then most of them also do not sell well in Japan.

I'm playing it right now and loving it. The world is beautiful, I need to buy a new tv that do it justice 
So that's close to a 50% digital split for the game. That's probably the case with many Playstation games in general, since that's never in the conversation on other forums when PS software sales are discussed.
GoT 2 with PS5 level graphics could propel this series into the stratosphere. One of the rare sony exclusives to sell over 1 mil in Japan, along with Detroit.
Had no idea Detroit did that well. It's a shame what became of their Business relationship, as the studio would have been a great addition for Playstation.
So deserved. Such a great, open world experience. Even the coop mp is soooo good. Sometimes I fire it up just to look at the world for a bit.
Nah, Ghost doesn't really play like an AC game and it's much less grindy. It's a pure action game instead of one that tries to make you stay in the game for as long as possible. Sure there are some borrowed game design elements but at its heart they're different games.

It's not Nintendo that determines retail shipments in Japan, it's the retailers. That said, I seriously doubt any retailer is worried about getting stuck with stock for this game. oh. I agree that I doubt there will be any problems when it comes to selling those units. Just curious observation...

I read some American reviews back then that reduced points because non Japanese people made the game and that was offensive to the reviewer. At the same time, japanese gamers were having such a blast with it that they made the devs some sort of ambassadors to the Tsushima island.
