Just imagine what sales would be if this didn’t have the Star Wars branding. It would have sold virtually nothing

Hey, Square this is what underperforming actually looks like. Lol. Holy shit, this is really bad for Star Wars.

No, underperforming is coming short. That number is not underperforming, it's called a nuclear bomba.
A lot of lost money, especially with the fact Ubisoft had to pay % amount for each copy sold to Disney and the upfront licensing. I'm sure Disney paid for a portion of the development of the game, but it wouldn't be enough.

It's like Marvel's Avengers but worse, and if folks recall, Square-Enix specifically called out the fact they did not recoup development cost with the launch with that game(although they probably limped towards slight profits over time, but nobody spends like 5-6 years just to make 10 million dollars).
One of the rare times where they were more specific about how a game performed.

That's overall and worldwide? No way in hell that's accurate. The game is around a 75 and is a decent Ubisoft Star Wars game. There's no way it sold less than Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Just no freaking way.

Bro not everyone is like you and has time to waste on a mediocre 7/10 game, The game is at a 3.87 rating on PSN which is a joke for a modern AAA star wars game, Cat Quest 3 is better rated.

The analysts already downgraded sales expectations to 5 million by june 2025 before launch but the numbers are still lower lmfao.
