I always go with fidelity, Im not sensitive to lower fps. Even with Demon Souls when I put performance mode I didnt really feel the diff or like it. I know I'm weird.

I’m not sure… these are the differences between Fidelity and Performance outside resolution.

But we are speaking about purely fidelity mode. There are many fidelity modes to chose from.

I prefer a locked/capped 60fps where the entire game's frame rate is at 60fps or very close throughout the entire game instead of it fluctuating all over the place. Will watch Digital Foundry's video later today as they're supposed to have one detailing all these modes. Will decide what to go with based on what they say about each mode. Only thing I know for sure is that im playing on one of the three performance modes.

Like Gamer mentions, I learned two things about the game that I didn't know and would have liked to keep that way. Definitely stay away from the video in my opinion. I know a lot of people on various forums weren't happy with their video because of the spoilers. It's like, WTF?

Only positive for me is that I know which mode im playing on. Dynamic 4K at 60fps locked and loaded.

No brainer. 60 FPS. Motion blur and all adjustable effects DISABLED.

Motion blur is so bad. Worse for action games. I like seeing what I’m doing and not blurred pixels. Hate it. I’m sure DF was all like “burrr motion blur am good”

I'm not that worried about spoilers, usually just watch videos like this. But I saw their warning and I the pushback in a thread, so it felt suspicious.

And things like the reaction to the leaks in TLoU 2 shaped in part my reaction to the game. So I'm more careful now.

Every single reviewer does agree that the game is tethered to last gen though, and It's visible. Santa Monica obviously spent a lot of time ensuring the game runs perfectly on the PS4, and it looking even better than the previous on that platform is a testament to how good they are. But I would have really liked for them to go balls to the wall like Guerrilla went on HFW. Still last gen, but the PS5 version offers such a huge jump over the PS4...

The Decima engine probably does a better job at scaling graphical settings.

Agreed. DF says minor spoilers but they're not. The leak with TLOUP2 was a negative for me personally once I saw what it was but I can saw with GOWR, im more hyped and excited.
