interesting how they're trying to break up all big tech monopolies but are not trying to break Microsoft's monopoly on PC OS, Windows is basically a monopoly
What is the alternative, though?

Linux is nowhere near accessible enough, to be relevant for the normal user, while also lacking potential support for certain applications and software.
MacOS is exclusive to Apple Devices.

Then there are also Millions of Professionals and Companies relying on Windows for one reason or the other, with little to no alternative.
Windows is so deeply rooted in the "Personal Computer" Space, with general software support being so focused on it, that you simply can't ignore it.

This is another reason why i am glad to move away from the PC, for non-professional things at the least.

My PC is also still running Windows 10...
