Last I remember Nintendo never provides digital data to gsd.

You can see this when gbiz report the monthly charts for UK/Europe. Nintendo games always have a asterisk beside it saying digital data not available. Although I can't remember if it is for all titles or just first party titles.

How does GSD get these numbers?

Ragnarok is absolutely killing it. A killer app indeed and a big part of Ps5’s continuing momentum. Very happy about that one. Well deserved and it’s gonna outperform all previous tentpole releases from Sony.

Nintendo provides 0 digital data of their games to GSD.

Nintendo games especially big titles have a good digital ratio. For example Zelda TOTK sold around 1.2 million units digitally in Japan in just 3 days.

As far as I know Nintendo is one of the few big publishers who doesn't provide their data to GSD.

How does GSD get these numbers?

Directly from the publishers. GSD is backed by Videogames Europe and the National Video Game Trade Associations of many countries, almost two dozen, mostly from Europe.

Regarding the digital data, publishers or developers can even grant them access to their account in the digital stores to collect the logs/data from the store databases. By doing that some publishers/devs don't even need to fill the forms, GSD takes it from there directly. Well, GSD not directly: there's Sparkers, an external company who processes the GSD data.

Surprised but happy to see Dead Space in the top 5. Good faithful remakes should be rewarded.

The Last Of Us Remake really did well in the end and should have done better on PC had they just delayed it and called on Nixxies for help.
