Recent 343 restructuring may have affected this even tho its in development at Creative Assembly.
I assume plans have changed.
It may no longer be attached to Infinite. Or it may be attached to a relaunch with a campaign drop. Which last we heard was also rumored for 2024.
MS has the money to continue to try and keep it afloat and they might just do that no matter how grim the player situation is now.
However Apex, Fortnite and Warzone 2 will have continued to evolve in that time so this needs to be super polished and huge. It would also need to see a PS5 release.
