And leave yourself open to a ban at any time, because you violated their TOS and provided false info, if you live in a country where PSN is not available, like me. The probability of that happening is low, but never zero, especially if some stupid automated AI makes a decision on whether to ban you or not, the point is they have every right to ban your account and lead you to potentially lose years of unlocked trophies (less important) and a lot of money you invested in games ( very important). That is why I said that they should provide the ability to create a PSN account with any country, as lonng as they sell their products officially in those countries, which they do in mine. This also leaves them open to lawsuits, since you cannot legally play their game because of their shortsightedness and stupidity (in countries that do not have PSN support).you can create account, it is not rocket science. i have US account, thousand of people have accounts from other regions or countries.

Creating an account in another country doesn't violated any TOS.And leave yourself open to a ban at any time, because you violated their TOS and provided false info, if you live in a country where PSN is not available, like me. Until 2010 you can't choose Brazil as your PSN country and so you can't use Brazilian payment systems.
That didn't stop me to have a PS3 (that was sold officially here by Sony) and use an American account to play games... Sony even incentived it.
For now maybeCreating an account in another country doesn't violated any TOS
It was never a problema at all
Blatantly wrong, read their TOS for PSN, check page 5 of this thread for a screenshot of that. To quote: "During account creation you must select the country or region of your residence..."Creating an account in another country doesn't violated any TOS.
Sony own site said you could create other country PSN lolBlatantly wrong, read their TOS for PSN, check page 5 of this thread for a screenshot of that. To quote: "During account creation you must select the country or region of your residence..."

I read... and they make the country choice as well a choice.
You can read their TOS under 03ACCOUNT CREATION, USAGE AND SECURITY here. Where does Sony say that it is allowed to create a PSN account with a country that is not your place of residence? Please provide evidence.
