This may not be the best game ever, but it seems like it's a labour of love. I really want the story to be good. My girlfriend has been waiting forever for this game (RPG Harry Potter game) and I've pre ordered the collectors edition.

It's a few months away and already looks to be really polished.
I am not a harry potter fan but this game looks very fun at least.

I've already pre-ordered, so not gonna watch anything anymore about the game. Beginning of 2023 is already packed.

As someone who's never cared about Harry Potter, never watched any of the movies and never read any of the books, I watched the entire 45 minute gameplay showcase and I added it to my list. Game looks great, the attention to detail in the castle and interiors looks great and definitely seems like Avalanche Software and Portkey really put a lot of love into this game in regards to getting it to be as close to what Harry Potter is seen as. This game will be a day one buy based on one thing - how long the classes are in the game. I know there's a few that are mandatory in order to continue the main quest line but the rest are all optional but I want to know how long these classes will be. If they're like 10 minutes or less, then great but if it's like an hour class, that will be a turn off. Just have to wait and see but right now, it's on my release date list and im leaning more towards buying it than not.
On a side note - early 2023 is looking packed and stacked. I already have 6 games in the first quarter of 2023 that have a release date and im expecting a few more.

I can't stand the original HP movies.

This game continues to impress me. Leaning towards the digital deluxe edition but that’s 50/50. Expansions being announced would solidify me going digital. Either way, Hogwarts Legacy is day one.

Yeah it looks really good and interesting. I'm getting the collectors edition, my gf will be the one playing since she's a huge HP fan, and then I may do a run as well.

PS4/XBO is April and Switch is July. I don't see WB cancelling these versions as the user install base combined is around 250m. Plus, it wouldn't matter anyway as it was originally built as a cross-generation game so like Gotham Knights, even if it was a current generation only, the foundation was set based on last generation. As long as they can get the game to be a locked 30FPS on last generation consoles, they'll be fine since it's not a fast paced game.
Yeah that's why I said many moons ago so the scope of the game could be adjusted accordingly.
The Switch version in particular to going to be a complete mess. No doubt there will be a 1080p re-release on Switch 2

watched the showcase, not a graphical monster but looks very good. looks very well done. let see if it is a case on 10.02.23
