I’m on the fence with trying it out. Sorta because it’s time to revisit Tales of Arise and I’m back into cyberpunk for awhile.

Anyone playing this? Would love to hear impressions.

Not only curious but fearful that it could be one of those life draining games that require massive time investment.

You're probably right, I really only spend time on games that respect my time now anyway. Rarely jump back into D2, which was like crack to me.

It's actually pretty good, I would put it in my personal top 5 this year just based on the content patches this year.

It's no worse than Zelda, in fact in most areas it far surpasses Zelda

Story is better than Zelda
Music is way better than Zelda
Combat is way better than Zelda
Exploration equal to Zelda (this year it's even better than Zelda bc underwater areas are fun af)
Monetization way worse than Zelda, but at least it's optional
Sandbox elements worse than Zelda
Waifus way better than Zelda
Actually good voice acting

There's a reason the game hit big, it's high quality
