I think it was ok: I'll get the Mario 2D game, maybe the only game I'll get for Switch before Switch 2 release out of what they have to release. Not interested at all in the other things they have.

As usual full of rehashed old stuff, multiplatform stuff that will be better in the other consoles (so only makes sense to get it here if portability is important for you or if you don't have other consoles) and ports. But I think some people may like some of the games shown.

They are in intergenerational transition mode, with their next console to be released next year. So probably some games like the next Mario 3D, Metroid Prime 4 and Mario Kart 9 are left waiting to be (maybe crossgen?) Switch 2 launch games.

3/10.

The Good: Mario Wonders, Princess Peach game and the Remake.

Traditional, safe.

The Meh, and bad... a lot....

4 - Sony (Solid titles shown but dipping into MS territory with everything that's wrong in gaming - GAAS, CGI, Movies? PC footage of indies...).
3 - Nintendo (Mario, and related IPs is solid but still can't break the identity shell for everything else).
2 - MS (everything wrong in gaming - subs, GAAS, wait a lil bit longer routines, same old bait and switch etc (Avowed - such a shame) and nothing with punching power).

I deliberately left the remasters off just for you, Tryhard Teen. If I'd have put them in Nintendo would have had a whopping 10 self-published 2023 games for Q 3 and 4. More than the other two put together. Nearly lapping their combined output.

Delivered on what? Remasters and the same franchises again? Man nostalgia its powerfull drug
Nooooooo, ignore how good this game is, please just focus on the fact that its a part of a continuing series.....

Why do you think thats a negative thing anyway? Maintaining franchises is a good thing. Especially since it looks like they are spicing 2D Mario, at least, up. And Pikmin hasn't got a new game in ten years (mobile trash does not count.) Sorry if you think there's some kind of massive Pikmin glut but there just isn't.

  • Super Mario Bros. Wonder

  • Detective Pikachu 2

  • WarioWare: Move It!

  • Princess Peach Game

  • Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince

  • Penny's Big Breakaway

  • Manic Mechanics

These are all new games announced… from these 4 are first-party games that was better than any other platform holder announcement this summer.

Your taste means nothing here.
They delivered.

If I was taking just my taste in discussion then I should say the show was 0/10 because they didn’t announce any PlayStation 5 game 🤷‍♂️

But for a platform owner Nintendo delivered.

I should love to have 4 new first-party games announced by Sony this summer but we didn’t got anything close to that.

Another Pikachu game
Another dragón quést spin off
Anoth.. Nah who im kidding, its always the same with this People, laziness, cheap production values. And a lot of nostalgia, but it servers well to his fans, there is no Point to argue with Nintendo fans so enjoy
