IGN has lost all credibility with how they revisited their Dragon Age review. Absolutely disgraceful.
The clock is ticking tho… not sure they will survive even while buying up other (worthless) outlets.
Gamers are tired of the fake Goty posturing seen with Deathloop, Alan wake 2, and now dragon age. They would’ve tried with concord too but that shit got shut down in 12 days cuz players gave zero fucks. It’s fake bullshit and IGN is right there in the thick of it and deserves a ton of shit.

My preference is for relative objectivity.
Your post on Lego Horizon sales was not objective at all.
It was selective. Selection bias is not an objective practice.
You focused on Steam sales (and didn't use sales metrics, but rather ccu metrics, even though sales metrics would have accomplished the same result), but you left out other elements of its sales. Steam sales do not encompass the games overall sales and it seems to be selling relatively well on PlayStation.
The game has also only been out for 4 days and isn't a AAA game. Advertising matters a lot for a game like this and I think anyone can attest that there has been a boon in advertising for the game in the last 3-4 days that wasn't there a week ago.
So suggesting that early sales of a game targeting kids are bad without it being advertised yet was also not objective.
People also pointed out to you that the CCU numbers (again not a proper sales metric) was in line with most other Lego games. Again, not objective.
You think that its relative objectivity, but it's extreme bias and FUD.
What good games has Xbox brought to the table this gen? I really want to know, from what I know is they haven't had not ONE goty worthy game this entire gen... you can't say "free" games when you are literally paying $20 a month for them.

240 dollars a year and you still don't get the best games that come out for the year and still have to buy those separately...

I've amassed a pretty large backlog of games just through PS+ but how many of them do I actually play? Quality is way more important than quantity.
My last 3 games were Hogwarts Legacy, Persona 3 Reload, and Astro Bot. None of these were on PS+ and I think maybe P3 was in GamePass... I have also put P3 down as it has become a slog.
Don't give two shits about IGN but for me personally, Xbox Series X has been an A+ while PlayStation 5 has been an A- four years after launch. Xbox has given me my game of the generation and 2023 game of the year in Starfield and 2021 game of the year in Halo Infinite (campaign) while Sony has given me my 2022 game of the year in God of War Ragnarok and all their published games have been an 8+ for me. No complaints or issues here.
