I mean....they made the best selling Star Wars games in history, it very much worked well for them as to why they are now giving them this Marvel deal lol

@Bryank75 forget what? The narrative that Disney was "mad" about that deal was based on what gamers claimed, nothing suggest Disney was mad at the Star Wars deal and I think some of you are in love with the hot takes, its almost as if you want the myth to be true about something and then start repeating it as fact.

Disney knew who EA was when they agreed to that Star Wars deal, they got the best selling Star Wars games in history from it and even after the deal ended...they still had EA working on Star Wars...the fact that this deal is even happening with Marvel very much proves its not a "people never learn" or "companies forget" ...it was gamers narrative that they were fucking angry or upset about that deal.

No evidence exist to suggest that and these deals confirm they are very much ok with EA.

So that is a narrative that gamers made up, nothing exist to confirm or prove any of that. Driveclub didn't work out for Sony so they got rid of Evolution studios, Star Wars didn't work out for Disney so they let EA continue to use the IP after the deal was done? They are sooooo upset they have given them a deal with Marvel IP?

It could be the pre-production team that finished Dragon Age, is starting Iron Man. As in, Dragon Age 4 is on its final push and unlikely needs concept artist, writers etc

Good thing it seems I can easily write off EA for the next decade. They can have the Disney cash grabs and leave better game studios to better ideas.

EA is a terrible games company. This is a good fit.

They lost FIFA. Even if the next game is the same game people seem to love copy and pasted … it will still get hurt badly without FIFA branding.

It’s a huge risk and they need to make some moves just in case it all goes badly.
