The latest Famitsu readers most wanted video game charts from Japan for the week of 21st July, 2022 to 27th July, 2022. The most wanted game this week with 689 votes remains Final Fantasy XVI, which is in development for the PlayStation 5 and is scheduled for release next summer. The big JRPG from Square Enix Here’s the top ten most wanted games from Famitsu readers:

  3. [NSW] Dragon Quest X Offline – 498 votes
  4. [NSW] Bayonetta 3 – 482 votes

  7. [NSW] Ushiro – 204 votes

Yes, re4 in the top 10
Progmata above re4? Interesting, I hope it comes out next year. 2023 is Capcom 40th anniversary and of they have re4 remake, street fighter 6, and progmata l next year it will be an amazing anniversary for them.

Bayonetta #4 while RE 4 remake #10!! That's concerning 😟 I thought Japan loved Resdient Evil

I completely forgot about exoprimal despite that being my second favorite reveal of 2022 after re4 remake. I doubt dragons dogma 2 is next year tho. Probably a January 2024 game

I imagine with very little shown of re4 remake doesn't help much and how recent it was revealed. Bayonetta 3 is just 3 months away l when this poll was taken and revealed in December 2017. Re6 sold over 650k in Japan in its opening week and while no resident evil has hit those highs since in Japan and with re4 launching on a much smaller install base than re6 did when it released its safe to say re4 remake probably wont be resident evil biggest hit in Japan in its opening week but im sure it will do better than progmata which ranked above it as well
