[Japan] PlayStation 5 sales year to date so far are already higher than the biggest year of both PS3 & PS4

So around 2.7 - 2.8 million this year? That's honestly good considering how they now treat Japan like a Tier 3 market.

Takashi Mochizuki - PS5 fails to hit the 2 million sales mark in Japan after 3 years. Continues to struggle and lag far behind the almost 7 year old Nintendo Switch.

Nice. More than PS3/PS4 is as good as its gonna get for now. Pretty amazing considering the Stock issues PS5 had until the last year

Wrong, that doesn't include digital sales.

And the last couple of fiscal years, worlwide 2/3 of the PS games sold were sold digitally, percentage fairly bigger than on Switch. In addition to this, we also know Switch worldwide sales are focused on a small percentage of supersellers while on PS are more spread.
