Doubt it, shifting the studio to become a trend chaser in gaas space that just so happened to coincide with PlayStation’s larger push for gaas? Who the hell went to work on Naughty Dog hoping to land gaas experience? Someone put a carrot on a stick.
It's easier than this: as usual in gamedev when working on TLOU2 shit got out of scope and got delayed a handful times. At some point couldn't delay it more and had to decide, and they decided to spend their remaining resources on the SP mode to don't have another delay more, and move the MP mode to become its own standalone MP game.Doubt it, shifting the studio to become a trend chaser in gaas space that just so happened to coincide with PlayStation’s larger push for gaas? Amy also went to shit after she left, irrelevant since 2011.The studio went to shit when Amy left. Niel is not the right fit to lead ND.

If the current project goes well. Potentially, it could get worse.TL;DR: Naughty Dog are fkkd this gen WRT a new mainline SP game that isn't a potentially rushed Uncharted.
We won't see anything truly new from them in the AAA SP space until PlayStation 6. A cork-up of studio management when it comes to priorities, seems like.
