You’re Irish. You’re pissed 24/7 in one sense of the word or the other!I'm pissed
I was horribly addicted to Reddit for about 8 years - spent as much time as I possibly could on that site, to an unhealthy degree. In 2020, I started noticing how toxic it became with the xbots. Glad I finally decided to quit using reddit cold turkey when the whole 3rd party app thing happened in June. My life has improved significantly since I stopped using that site.Reading about this on reddit and seeing the comments remind me how many Xbox fanboys are on that place. There are so many people wanting Xbox to somehow swoop in for this game or shitting on PlayStation/shoehorning in Xbox cheerleading for any reason they can come up with.
I'd argue it's been like that AT LEAST since 2020, when the Bethesda deal happened. I wasn't really following that sub up until that point, so I can't speak to how it was before, but it was nothing but xbots every time I visited between late 2020 and the first half of this year.Yeah the gaming leaks and rumors subreddit is filled with astroturfers, it was very apparent during the entirety of the ABK acquisition as you'd get dogpiled and downvoted into double digits almost immediately if you even dared to question the acquisition.
I assume this would be officially announced in the second Sony showcase to be made this year, where Sony would announce the Square Enix acquisition that according to him was happening.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake Is Dead
The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake is dead and no longer actively being worked on, according to a new report.insider-gaming.com
The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake is dead and Sony has cut ties with the project as no studio is working on the game anymore. At least, that’s what Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb had to say on Friday morning during his Game Mess Mornings show.
Grubb said around the 57-minute mark. “
Originally announced back in 2021, the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake has been through development turmoil from the start.
It was first in development by Aspyr Media before Embracer Group shifted the game over to Saber Interactive in August 2022.
the /r/gaming subreddit is also awash with astroturfers. You can notice obvious xbox marketing posts upvoted and all sony news posts downvoted at all times.I was horribly addicted to Reddit for about 8 years - spent as much time as I possibly could on that site, to an unhealthy degree. A bigger scam operation than Star Citizen? LolHeh I posted just a few hours before this that Sony should terminate the deal. Glad they did. Such a bad deal.
Embracer is running the most obvious scam operation we’ve seen in the industry IMO.
A shame since some of their devs pumped out a small handful of good games. I hope Gunfire finds a way to bail the fuck out of this.
I’m now expecting Perfect Dark reboot and the crystal dynamics partnership to go straight down the shitter as well. But we knew that since Microsoft is attached… and you know… Microsoft is clueless about making a successful game product. They’ll buy them off someone else tho…

You're thinking of No Man's Sky. Or is SC finally out, too?Star Citizen actually released.
And it's a better game than Starfield by a considerable margin, to boot.

As far back as 2010, anything outside of the dedicated PlayStation subreddits have always been Xbaby contamination zones and massive echo chambers.I'd argue it's been like that AT LEAST since 2020, when the Bethesda deal happened. Yeah, that is an explanation that is going to be hilarious.Embracer being a scam? How?
