No, the SCOPE of the game - which is even worse than technical limitations - was affected because of the Potato Box.

That's what people with a bit of common sense and not a short-sighted view said since the consoles were revealed.
Is GTA 6 scaled down because of the series s?
FWIW the Series S is a piece of shit and WH/KCD are brilliant games and devs.

There is a direct correlation between being a complete idiot and being an Xbox fan.
Muppets like him aren't xbox fans. They're glory supporting/contrarian, jingoist, corporate cock suckers. They don't give a fuck about xbox or the success of the console, because they twist reality in their own heads.
MS listened to retards like that, which is why they're in the position they're in. It's a good thing Sony don't listen to the same flavour of nutters, otherwise we would see no games, studios shuttering, GaaS being pushed and exclusives disappearing from the platform.

During the recent Game Access show in Brno, questions were lobbied at Warhorse Studios regarding the recent reveal of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This follow-up to the 2018 open-world title is set to be a stunning game when it’s released worldwide later this year, but some concerns have been raised regarding how it’ll run on certain platforms.

At Game Access, producer Martin Klíma was grilled on this very topic. He explained that owing to the technical limitations of the Xbox Series S, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s scope was impacted, which meant that the team couldn’t make the game as big as they’d wanted.

Only As Strong As The Weakest Link

Reportedly, the ‘weaker’ Xbox Series S console posed a problem for Warhorse Studios when assembling Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. In terms of technical specs, the Series S has just 10 GB of RAM, which is little more than 25% more RAM than the last generation of home consoles. Not only does this present a problem for those making the game, but the players will ultimately feel the pinch too.

Obviously fake. Games scale with hardware, which is why we have god of war running on calculators and shit.

/s if it wasn't obvious.

Microsoft cheapening out on RAM was such a weird flex, to be honest.

Imagine how much more successful the platforms would've been if the Series X just had 2GB per channel (20GB total) and the Series S had 4GB per channel (16GB total).

No memory contention issues at launch resulting in worse multiplatform performance than the PS5, more available RAM to cache more assets and compensate for the slower I/O, more bragging rights on the Series X (which is super important to Phil).

Makes sense although I don't buy the it's only 25 per cent larger because it has 25 percent more RAM. They should have provided more detail. The first game was limited by consoles anyway. The alpha looked way better than the final release. Forests were insane. To this day some of the best graphics to date.

Although I am not sure why they are not offering 60 fps modes. Is it such a CPU hog?

That is happening since start of the gen.
But people said it was bullshit lol

Both console generation and PC are limited by the minimum specs.

If devs could developer just for the high-end specs you should have a game like no one in terms of scale and graphic push.
