paying for exclusive EGS games is never a good move. they will always come to steam eventually and you'll wish you held off. (except maybe for Alan Wake 2)
EGS is shit.
I want as many games as possible on the same launcher, I want them to all work with Steam Remote Play, Family Sharing, and I want them to easily work with Steam Deck. Steam is a far better service than literally every other digital storefront/launcher. Saying that doesn't make me a fanboy, it makes me a person who can tell the difference between good and bad things.
I got the Witcher 3 from GOG eons ago as it had other games for free with the purchase. But now the steam version will have workshop support. Not sure how they will handle that with the GOG one. Steam versions typically have better features.
