Konami has now clarified to VGC that the game will render at the following resolutions:

• All platforms except Switch – 1080p / 60 frames per second target
• Switch (docked mode) – 1080p / 30 frames per second target
• Switch (handheld mode) – 720p / 30 frames per second target

On one hand I'm happy it's not 1080p, on the other i suspect this is because of the series S otherwise we would of had it at 4k

My theory is the Series S version holding back this gen, instead of making 2 different version they just stopped at 1080p and called it a day.

That doesnt make sense and doesn't explain how the Switch runs the game at 30 fps. Even base ps4 and Xbox one should run this game at more than 1080p
