Moore's Law Is Dead, responsible for leaking all of the specs of the PS5 Pro and PSSR earlier this year, revealed in a video published today that by simply unlocking the frame-rates, without needing any optmiziation or utilization of PSSR... developers got games running at solid 120fps on the PS5 Pro, he speaks at 50:38 in the video below

100fps+ without utilizing PSSR, this is crazy 🤯 the new standard for consoles will be Fidelity 60fps and Performance 120fps

Awesome! I already expected this cause of the unlocked modes of 1st party but unoptimised games hovering 50fps to 120 without a patch (!) is nuts.

There was a rumour/leak claims of Jedi Survivor running 120 fps while back and certain ''experts'' clowned on it saying impossible.
I just hope that title specifically does

Yes, as they mentioned it will feature a PS5 Pro boost mode. So even games not being patched to take advantage of PSSR and so, just with the extra raw horsepower the games with unlocked fps will get higher ones.

So many who had 120Hz mode at around 100fps+ pretty likely now will be at solid 120fps. Regarding patched games, taking advantage of PSSR many will be able to go from 60fps to 120fps.

I said it in the Dragon's Dogma thread but should also say it here. PS5 Pro is still going to have issues where games are CPU-bottlenecked. Just like the PS4 Pro before it, it's hamstrung by its terribly antiquated, weak CPU.

Good thing the vast majority of games are GPU bound.

Dragon Dogma 2 is CPU heavy and first screens shows stable 60fps with improved IQ
