Most developers are smart.... they know how Microsoft runs things and how creativity suffers under them.
Under the 17%, I'm guessing many of those had some interest or link to Microsoft, not all but many!
Microsoft has access to all the ABK games, they can make contracts, there is no reason for them to have to own it.... they simply want to control the industry and that should not be allowed to happen again... they already own too much and have used the same tactics countless times to get there.

What is funny is that they actually have a financial incentive to be pro consolidation since many devs want to cash out. Hopefully they are finally wising up to how destructive MS business model is to the industry. Those Gamepass hand outs are going to dry up really fast and the companies that devalued their IPs and became reliant on it will go down with Xbox.

Look how many gaming journalists completely failed to report on the numbers MS gave the court that leaked in the Epic Vs Apple suit. NONE.
You’d think that one of the platform holders admitting they’d lost over $70 billion by staying in the console world would be newsworthy, but it only got reported on Apple-focused tech sites for some strange reason.
Remember when Xbox players couldn't play their bought games for 4 days recently? Apparently, the mainstream media doesn't. Was covered by some youtubers but you can bet the likes of IGN and GameSpot somehow "forgot" about it. Sure enough, they jumped on the CMOS battery issue Sony had.

This is one story that's not going to be acknowledged on era. Their narrative of Sony being the only ones against this deal is being completely destroyed.

they questioned 2300 people, 44% is 1012 individuals, meanwhile the Europeans Game Developers Federation represents over 2500 game studios and over 44000 employees and announced publicly that they support the ABK acquisition lol
