I will move to PC as well. No questions asked. The day PS doesn’t sell physical will be sad for me. Some of my friends say they’re moving to PC when that happens.
Seriously, plus free online and BC for life. Also perpetually upgradeable. The day this happens i will switch to PC cuz you would have no idea if that title u bought that GEN will even return or be able on the next gen system then no promise it will be only anything soo why risk it
But PC is all digitalThe day PS doesn’t sell physical will be sad for me. Some of my friends say they’re moving to PC when that happens.
It's true that the PC is almost 100% digital, but on the PC you've got Steam, which brings everything together and prices are much cheaper than on consoles, and your games you keep for life and are compatible with your future hardware, unlike consoles where it's more expensive and you have no guarantee of backwards compatibility. But PC is all digital
If it was the day PS doesn't sell physical I will stop to play games... that makes sense.
But moving from a platform because it is digital to another that is digital feels weird to me.
Some ppl are only holding onto consoles because they offer physical despite the many PC benefits and better aspects. The same way some ppl hold on to consoles due to exclusives. Once you don't have tht leverage or advantage why stay on consoles when you can have free online, more games, etc... It makes perfect sense to me.But PC is all digital

I mean when ppl come into threads from Matt and other analysts I hope they know they are guessing based off a combination of many things including how the market is moving, guesses, certain numbers etc.Mat is not an insider. He has no idea what he is talking about. He also doesn't realize the regulatory reasons why Sony will probably continue to sell physical retail nor is he considering that there is a good chance that when Sony creates a handheld that they'll produce physical media for that as well.
Also ignores that certain regions probably are high percentage physical media, which still brings in considerable revenue.

That was what I understood too.I think their point is that if both PS and PC are digital only, they’d prefer a PC for some reason.
I wouldn't though. I like all the little QoL features of a console while being orders or magnitude cheaper.
