It’s so, so amusing that ABK and Bethesda acquisitions ended up killing Xbox
I mean, go on, Microsoft take CoD from Ps5, good luck.
Microsoft simply went Icarus and flew too close to the sun, their wings burned and they’re dead.
I waited years for this and it’s finally happening.
Microsoft have no taste, no style, they suck at everything, they don’t belong in gaming. They should sell everything and stick to office.

I'd argue that 2010-era sell-offs were actually what killed it. Its more that buyouts could not save it.

and before the "Sony needs competition" guys come here, remember, Microsoft was trying to KILL PlayStation with these acquisitions, not compete, KILL, we have internal conversations of their executives saying they can put Sony out of business, trust me, the other side would not have any empathy if the tables were flipped.
