Any company who wants to chase this success needs to realize that Monopoly Go is selling based on 90 years of reputation

Nostalgia indeed sell things.
Not saying the game is bad... it is not.
But most will play / spend money on it because they remember how great time they had with the tabletop game.

Man in my children when we (kids and adults) meet to play Monopoly it was amazing times.

This game is literally printing money. 3B in revenue in a bit more than 1 year in service, that's some insane figure.
No wonder Hasbro is investing 1B billion into internal video game development instead of just doing a bunch of licensing deal. I think they realized they've been sitting on a mountain of gold.
