They should unshackle Ori too
They can't. They wrote around 20+ same tweets in that thread. LOL
Ori on NSW was MSs good will
AKA they hoped to get some cash out of it, after the game bombed on Xbox.Ori on NSW was MSs good will
More like petty spite, sticking it back to Sony for all the indie devs that chose to skip only Xbox as if that was Sony's fault LOLOri on NSW was MSs good will
Microsoft worked with Moon Studios for about 10 years. But it isn’t easy to figure out how much the publisher knew about working conditions at the developer.
While Microsoft had a difficult relationship with Moon Studios over the years, it was often over funding amounts and delays, as the project scopes kept changing and Moon missed deadlines.
Microsoft held the purse strings for the company, and it could help figure out how much money the developer needed to get its games done under a reasonable schedule. But Moon’s practices put quality above any timetable demands, and its games went off the rails on schedule.
This kind of delay strains the relationship with any publisher. Usually, it triggers conversations that get to the bottom of what is happening.
That person is just liking all the replies. Are they even reading the replies properly?
MS was not happy with them.

Do you see Totoki making a big acquisition? That’s cope. Sony ain’t buying a studio they didn’t work before. Their games are wholesome but they aren’t big sellers. The time of buying unproven studios is over. All small and new founded studios did have zero impact on PS. Prime example is Savage game studio was renamed in Neon Koi. They scrapped their mobile focus and shifted completely to console development. Another example is Haven, they failed completely. Mid and disappointing trailers for GaaS. Proof here is that Sony reportedly sized their GaaS ambitions by a lot down. You all have seen the news. This strategy of Jim Ryan failed hard, and he is finally gone. Hiroki Totoki which will be soon Interim-CEO, is very pro consolidating “Intellectual Property”. Meaningful IPs can be only bought by renowned studios or big gaming companies.
He will. But not now. He will become effectively new CEO of PlayStation when the new fiscal year begins.Do you see Totoki making a big acquisition?
