Why does current NRS think Shao Kahn is a dumb meathead brute and a jobber for Sindel/Shang Tsung?

Trailer looks good overall, but NRS needs to drop the idiot brute version of Shao Kahn.
Not feeling Shao Khan with horns or the axe.
Sindel as fully asian is a change for sure. Would have preferred a face with heavy lean on western characteristics from biracial european/asian stock. To keep more in line with her earlier depictions.
Combat looks fine as do graphics. Perhaps too clean. No major quips there.
