New IP will be 2027 launch.which project?
We know ND's current projects are minimum two SP games, one apparently started in 2021, a few months after TLOU2 release, and other one around early 2023.
Thy dumb asf. And whoever changed the initial scope and then cancelled it should be fired. Thy could have easily used the template for "no return" and made tht mp.Man I wish we still could of got Factions2 /TLOU online. IP is perfect for an ongoing story driven MP game
I agree, but it's true that if their SP already need a shit ton of work to be done, to keep pumping extra narrative content periodically for it, in addition to the typical MP GaaS stuff, which is a shit ton more work than making just a SP game.Man I wish we still could of got Factions2 /TLOU online. I think what happened was the opposite: I think they built it for MP but once they saw that were going to cancel TLOU Online they refurbished it as an extra for the remaster.Thy could have easily used the template for "no return" and made tht mp.
Yeah. I just wish they could do it all lol.I agree, but it's true that if their SP already need a shit ton of work to be done, to keep pumping extra narrative content periodically for it, in addition to the typical MP GaaS stuff, which is a shit ton more work than making just a SP game.
I think it's better to keep them focused on SP games and who knows, maybe someone else more specialized on GaaS could make some Uncharted and TLOU MP title built from the ground up to be on PS, PC and mobile. Having ND to overview the story, visuals, etc.

TLoU Pt 2 ending up without a multiplayer mode is a complete shame.... still makes no sense to me.Thy dumb asf. And whoever changed the initial scope and then cancelled it should be fired. Thy could have easily used the template for "no return" and made tht mp.

Because of their obsession with GaaS and post-release content we ended up with no game at all.
I think they'd do real gd at anything thy try especially an action RPG.Can you imagine if they were cooking a glorious RPG... and it happened to be Rings of Power 2!?
lol
