I have it for a month already… I can’t use or test any of the new features.

If i have a 4k tv, would i want this then or is this for people who dont yet have a 4k tv?
It outputs in 4k only… downscale or upscale depending of internal game Res.
Remover when the Xbox One guy said all games outputs at 1080p… it is the same here no matter the game Res it will output in 1440p when choose.
One doesn't just use 1440P because they don't have a 4K display "yet". 1440P isn't a stop-gap resolution as some might think. It's the ideal resolution for desktop gaming at smalled screen sizes.
To answer your question though, you don't want or need 1440P if you have a 4K display.

It is very niche… it was created for these 1440p native monitors that doesn’t support for 4k signal.
Most new 1440p monitor supports 4k (downscale to show) but some older models don’t so they were locked to 1080p option until this firmware… now they can have a more sharp IQ.
Does this mean the beta is over? Haven't had a chance to update my PS5 yet, but I thought the current beta was supposed to end in October.

So I started organising some shit with the new folder/playlist function. There is no way of sorting your playlist…ruck me, these UI designers are ducking retarded.
I could literally spend a day there and roll out an all encompassing plan on improving the user interface.
Why even, folders - just let us tag shit and add our custom tags to a filter function. All one place and function no need for seperate limited bullshit that doesn’t have the functionality of the main library - and likely takes more ram. Main Library which in itself is ironically not as featured as the store’s ability to find content.
It’s ridiculous.
