Its weird that Nintendo cut support for AC so soon considering it sold 45 million

Its not just AC, Mario Odyssey got the Luigi ballon thing as free DLC and then no expansion/paid DLC at all, Mario Party and Mario sports got barely anything ( and all was planned before launch.) Splatoon 2 got 1 season and a horde mode, literally the same as Arms, Swit h Sports, which has sold arou d 20 million copies got one additional sport that was announced before launch (shhh they couldn't finish it in time shhh) and then no DLC courses. Smash got two seasons spread over three years and Mario Kart only got its third season after 5 years of multi-million dollar quarters.

Nintendo just doesn’t want to do GaaS, even when the users want them to.

It doesn't even need to be full blown GAAS, it took years for ML8 DLC. We just want more content and are willing to pay.

Its crazy how many first party games Nintendo pumps out.

Nintendo is smart and contracts some of their IP to 3rd party studios....no clue why Sony doesn't do it. They did it with Ratchet and Clank but that's it.

Looking at those numbers, it's actually impressive how many sales Nintendo is losing by not porting their games to PC. They need to do it ASAP, like Sony.

Sony looked at both Nintendo and Xbox and decided they should follow Xbox. Morons, they are lucky Xbox is somehow run by an even more clueless individual.

They abandoned portables, pivoted to games as a service and decided to port everything to PC and got used to devaluing their own games.

Nintendo even has the disadvantage of weak hardware with relative little third party support and games that are emulatable/piratable on PC and yet they keep doing their own thing and stick to what they are good at.

If kept on just PS5 Sony games would pretty much be vitually untouched by piracy, their team would be able to develop for single device (getting a boost to quality and saving costs) and they would not have to give 30% to Steam (now their most direct competitor).
