They’ll keep publishing while it makes sense, until it no longer does.In the meantime, Spencer went doing the rounds in interviews claiming that they'll never stop publishing CoD on PS LOL
-Remember when this deal was announced everyone said this will be a slam dunk and sail through regulatory bodies especially the FTC? Well if the ftc is reviewing it this hard imagine how much worse it is with the CMA and EU.
-10 years sounds good on paper but microsoft could add a poison pill later on if they wanted to implement a store front within call of duty itself so only they get money for the micro transactions.
-10 years also sounds like, to me, (and pointed out by hoegs law) that, it sounds like there is a real possibility the ftc could sue to block this so Microsoft is being extra generous.
-Jim Ryan’s statement about Microsoft having a history of buying out markets and dominating them is an extremely strong statement imo. I don’t know how much regulators take that into account but that’s the best tact Sony could go with imo.
- All of that and regulators have also brought up how this will impact future areas like cloud and streaming.
I don’t think this deal is going through without major concessions. So much so that I wonder if it would even be worth it for Microsoft in the end?
We will see what happens.
I love when you add nothing of value to threadsman these pieces of shit of retardera are in full meltdown mode now, some of them like that tigerfish bufoon will be on suicide watch if this deal fails

If they're allowed to buy the biggest third party publisher, no justification can be given for them being blocked for a lesser third party publisher.I’m just glad that at the end of the day this entire clown show will put an end to either company buying out more major publishers. It seemed like earlier this year we couldn’t stop hearing about the arms race that was gonna occur with everyone claiming microsoft war chest was gonna demolish the competition, this is why all this is playing out the way it is now.
the FTC, CMA, and EU had the same idea the fan boys had. All the warchest talk and that mentality is why microsoft is getting put through the ringer right now, because like everyone was saying who’s to stop them from completely buying every game publisher available if not regulators?
they changed the discourse every 6 months, its a circusNot only that but i remember some very specific microsoft pundits gleefully saying, “you don’t spend 70 billion dollars if you don’t intend on making games exclusive” its almost like all the microsoft shills jinxed the fuck out of this acquisition bragging about warchest and exclusivity which they all now have to do a 180 just to have a sniff of this acquisition passing.
I love the circus, shitty western AAA annual game company tying down Microsoft in well over a year in litigation and more money being spent only to have their biggest franchises continue to be on competitors platforms and most likely not even on gamepass for the foreseeable future.
This is the gist of it, they can't build anything, but they happen to have money. So MS buys the middle ground to try to make the competition less attractive.Their strategy seems to be : starve the competitors of the big third party games, pay their way to a bigger market share. not by offering better games or being innovative, but simply by having the biggest bank account.
Most of them are probably bipolar.they changed the discourse every 6 months, its a circus
A lot of people in the family don't want to accept the death and they are causing problems.Let Activision go exclusive today. Fuck it. In 10 years time Microsoft will have undoubtedly destroyed them just like everything else. I don’t see the point of stretching out this funeral any longer.
10 years? You are very optimistic, aren't you?Let Activision go exclusive today. Fuck it. In 10 years time Microsoft will have undoubtedly destroyed them just like everything else. I don’t see the point of stretching out this funeral any longer.
That's Warzone.I'm hoping that regardless of if COD is on PlayStation or not that it becomes a platform and they make one more game for this generation in 2024 and then just add content to it so they can take every studio off COD excluding Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software. This way, the other studios can develop other games instead of being stuck on COD.
That's Warzone.
