Only the games marked with * doesn’t include digital that are just Nintendo published games (like Bayonetta 3)Edit: So its only physical sales and not digital.
If the rumours are to be believed, it will be NVidia Orin based and have plenty of power and memory. It should be as capable as the steam deck, albeit in ARMSeems like Switch is topping out. Switch 2 is probably already eyeing holiday 2023 or early 2024 tbh.
if they end at 130m-150m there's not much to complain about. The system was a smashing success.
What i'm interested in seeing is if they can leverage that success into their next system. A Switch that can run all multiplat games will be a force to be reckoned with. Stuff like Resident Evil 4 remake for instance wouldn't be skipping the platform.
they don't even have to have the best visuals, just get it to a point where 3rd parties can manage a port.
Oh so persona digital is included for all platforms?Only the games marked with * doesn’t include digital that are just Nintendo published games (like Bayonetta 3)
Persona have both combined… physical and digital. Most sales from this re-release come from Switch.
Unless the chart is wrong… yes… Atlus gives NPD all data.Oh so persona digital is included for all platforms?
Interesting, thank you. So persona bombed on xbox sales wise, to no ones surprise.Unless the chart is wrong… yes… Atlus gives NPD all data.
These are the Publishers that doesn’t share digital (N).
The biggest issue is Nintendo that doesn’t share anything with NPD so they have only physical for Nintendo published games.
Interesting, thank you. So persona bombed on xbox sales wise, to no ones surprise.
I just saw the Trunks from VGC saying 3% up on PS5 and 3% down on Series will make PS5 be ahead Series even when he doesn't even know how much is the gap between PS5 and Series on NPD this month.
But I'm posting that because the most shocking was they believed Series was selling better than PS5 after Sony normalized shipment lol
Sony is gone to 9+ million this quarter... 3.2m already produced in previous quarter.
Persona 5 is doing great on Game Pass despite being an almost 6 year old game. Sales here don't matter because majority are simply missing the point. Persona 5 is to get as many people into the series on Xbox as possible via Game Pass because if you're not someone who's into the franchise, you're not buying it anyway. But those who play it on Game Pass and like it will be more interested when Persona 6 eventually gets announced and released which if that game is day one on Xbox then mission accomplished because that's what getting all these years old ports is about. You can't get people into buying new future games in a series that they perhaps have never played before. But give it to them in Game Pass, they'll be more interested in trying them out which in turn will lead to them having interest in the next game if it releases on Xbox day one which I do believe that it will.
You can also not sell it to people expecting it to join on GP sooner or later....
True but those who like/enjoy Persona 5 may not want to wait until if/when Persona 6 goes on Game Pass. Before they can sell Persona 6, they have to build an audience and charging $60 for a 5+ year old game isn't going to accomplish that but a sequel day one where the majority liked Persona 5, that's definitely doable. Whether or not it happens though remains to be seen.
It’s a hopeful scenario tho. Outriders did “well” on gamespass. That DID NOT turn into expansion sales.
Series X and S are part of the same generation. It's what MS chose to do and all games run across both. It's not disingenuous, it's just the reality of the situation.I still find it completely disingenuous to place PS5 against both Series S and X. These things are not the same.
I’m definitely more inclined to lump Series S together with PS4 pro and One X than the true next gen machines.
It’ll get muddier when Ps5 pro undoubtedly comes out. This will be a long generation like ps360 thanks to global economic catastrophe.
