Funny how it’s a problem when old games is being used to benchmark the PS5 Pro and yet it’s literally always the same thing over on the GPU front. Every god damn PC build channels is using the same routine Fornite, Warzone, Valorant and Apex Legends and even freaking Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Lol. Whenever Nvidia announces a new GPU their frame rate chart is a list of old games. Revisionist history is running rampant this gen.

Honestly I think it shows how high the demand is. People are up in arms about being priced out of a PRO model. Then you have PC guys who feel threatened at the fact that a console is high end, and cheaper than their rig, therefore they must platform war and list a billion reasons why you should pay up $1500 like they did.
PS5 Pro is outperforming like 90% of the PC market for a fraction of the price and the Steam bros are throwing a tantrum

Seriously the PS5 Pro has rattled their ego’s.
It seems to me that the question here is about the values that we will get besides the power of hardware.
The PS4 FAT\SLIM\PRO had a great library of exclusives, and you could buy the PRO version for it, and note that at that time the 4K TV boom started.
The Switch also has a lot of exclusive games that also have some MP and social component.
PS5... We don't have many games 4 years after the launch, many of them were released on PS4 and this led to obvious compromises in their creation.
AND MOST importantly, Sony shot a 12-gauge shotgun into its own lap and ass when it started porting its exclusives to PC, and this severely undermined the image of the platform, and led to a huge media campaign to promote the PC platform at the expense of Sony games.
Facebook and other social networks are full of mockery of PlayStation, of fans and PlayStation owners, who are shown as suckers and pigs being milked, while at the same time the “PC race” gets everything for free, and this compensates for the more expensive cost of PC hardware.
