Top Atlus Launches On Steam:

The Atlus remake only just launched earlier today, February 2, but it looks like a certified hit on Steam already. Boasting a huge 42,112 peak concurrent players over the last 24 hours according to SteamDB, Persona 3 Reload is by far the Persona series' biggest-ever launch on Steam.

The previous record-holder for the biggest-ever Persona launch on the Valve storefront was, pretty unsurprisingly, Persona 5 Royal, which peaked at a concurrent player count of 35,474, according to SteamDB. Next in the rankings is Persona 4 Golden, which had a peak player count of 29,984 players, also judging by SteamDB.

Japanese games are in a roll on steam. Paror the course for the last 6/7 years. Someone should let vanillaware know... Maybe a japanese PC gamer stole George Kamitani lunch money back in the day...

Could be upwards of 500k, we really don't know. Steam concurrent on launch isn't a great indicator of overall sales.
Multiply launch number by 4-5 times, we got the first week number.

Accurate everytime. CP2077 sold 13 mil, ~60% is on PC. So 5 millions on Steam and 2 on GOG, combined with 1 million concurrent, so yea 5 times.

It's not accurate all the time but is a decent baseline, that's true.
There's clear outliers and depending on how a game peaks at a particular timezone(Asia) and how hard it falls outside of the key demographic(depending on how niche something) it doesn't work very well.

Game peaked on Day 4 with a consistent rise Day on Day, that's a different story than a Day 1 CCU peak.
But yeah, there's a lot of times where the same type of estimates just doesn't apply to every thing. You can try to balance it with a review estimate as well to give you a more possible range, but it's all guesswork.

Anyhow, Persona 3 peaked at a very peculiar time of 6 UTC and not at 14 UTC (Peak Asia time)
This most likely means this game is going to peak during NA evenings, especially since the CCU of the game has been stable for a few hours.

considering its the first real persona game to launch day and date on PC, no duh.

still, at 40k players, that's nothing compared to what PS5 will do. lol.
Some desperate people are using these numbers to shit on Square for not launching on PC Day 1 but FF7R and FF16 sold multiple millions more on 1 platform only.

They didn't have to pay to port and support all these versions + marketing from Sony.

Yakuza did 1 million for about the same CCU so 1 million for Persona 3 is not that impressive. Square would laugh at these numbers.

granblue peaked at 85k today

jrpg fight!

In the ring for Granblue right now… cuz it’s not a remake
Grandblue's story is really short just beat it in 12 hours. However the details are really good for what thet did. Its a Solid 8 from me but there is plenty to grind for once you beat it.

Why do you keep repeating the same shit? They need to run McAfee on you and update your firmware.

Like Palword, you use third-party non-exclusive to war because you have nothing else on your sewage box. Right you're a PC player 😒
