20th September: 10 million
2nd December: 12 million
Between launch month and holiday season, which includes Black Friday, the amount of people who have launched Starfield (free on Gamepass) has only grown 20%.
The CCU count on Steam, where players only have the option of buying the game, has plummeted, dropping Starfield out of the top 50 most played games.

It gets even worse when you take into consideration that usually the ratio of copies sold to players is not 1:1 due to couples and families buying one copy of a game for multiple people to play, and game sharing in the digital age.
And that doesn't even figure in Game Pass...
Seems pretty week for what’s supposed to be their biggest game this generation so far.
Spiderman 2 will likely surpass this in sales by year's end.

Starfield failed to move gamepass/gamepass couldn’t move Starfield. 10s of millions of players and sales lost with this move. Good job Phil

Phil should not use 12 millions because that's the number we have for Fallout 4, making it easy for us to compare directly.
Fallout 4 did 12 millions in 1 DAY with no subscriptions to inflate the numbers. It took 3 months for Starfield to reach that number. Awful
