Well it didn't according to the blogpost, the deals were announced straight away for both new and existing.

For both new and current PlayStation Plus members, all 12-month plans will be offered at 25% off – this includes Essential, Extra, and Premium/Deluxe.

No. False. Days Of Plat 2024 already started and there is no discount for existing PS+ members. You can see it for yourself if you have one. It will appear later

You can see in 2023 no deals for existing members were announced later, rather they were announced straight away alongside the discounts for new subs.

I hope i'm wrong though and it does come later, but i'm not seeing it as during the holidays they did something similar.

Not sure about the holidays, but they've offered a upgrade post holidays

This is the first time we've seen 3 back to back to back PS+ sales. Currently available in Australia and will roll out to other regions. Requires 3mo or 12mo plans to get discount, expires Jan 13th 2023.
