They didn't promise anything. Some pitch and related roadmap documents were leaked, some of them mentioning it for 2025 and others for 2027.
We don't know which one was the final one. And who knows, maybe that pitch wasn't greenlighted and they aren't working on it.
The source of that rumor was a random internet user in a Gravity Rush fans website with no track record as leaker. So pretty likely was fake.
It isn't a leak, it's just a random 4chan post from a troll.
If Sony has an event this December they will announce the release of My First Gran Turismo, which releases this year / month. This week Arrowhead added a lot of files to Helldivers 2 related to the upcoming new 3rd faction, so pretty likely the announcement of this faction would be another of the trailers shown there. Pretty likely these will be 'available now!' trailers.
They also have Convallaria and Lost Soul Aside in theory coming 2024, haven't been oficially delayed to 2025. So it's also likely that they'd release there a new trailer mentioning a 2025 release (I wouldn't bet on a shadown drop).
A week after December 3rd there's also the release of the first Secret Levels episodes, which may include some episode with SIE IPs, so they may include a trailer there too.

Definitely fake since there's no GT7 announcement mentioned for the free version that should be coming next month
Very few if any... So dunno if to be believe any of this tbh.
99.9% are fake, just personal guesses from random unknown annonymous players. I don't get why people insist on calling them leaks when they are just random posts from random people in internet with zero credibility.
