Sure probably would do more and an even bigger budget, that year Apex also came out with the Modern Warfare reboot. Oh a VR game making history by topping charts with console games is nothing special indeed. That you don't favour VR fine, but it's nothing to scoff at.That is one market? The UK and the game free fell from the charts as the VR base wasn't big enough to sustain long term sales. Making a full fledge PS4 game should have happened, since they actually lacked a first party first person shooter as well. VR addition would have sealed the deal. The game would have had even better sales.
The funny part is you are blaming VR when they got actually shutdown making a shooter game for the console (and PC). It's just very ironic to read.
