The new campaign, dubbed ” A Nod to Jim Ryan” celebrates the 30 years that Ryan has been at PlayStation. As such, the quests to earning this special digital bobblehead of him will have players playing through some of the very titles he helped bring over to PlayStation.

What IS this shit?
What the fuck happened to the sharp/stylish Sony and PlayStation brands of old?

I want anyone who's been in charge since Layden/House/Boyes left and Shu got pushed to the window seat in Japanese business tradition, to GTFO before they take the entire PS division down with them!

It is very nice to do this for someone who has been there for all these decades and has broken so many records.

Translated from the Spanish version:

A loving farewell | Jim Ryan

A nod to Jim Ryan

To celebratet the 30 years of Jim Ryan at PlayStation, we invite you to play any of the impressive titles he pushed as CEO and get a special Digital Collectible. Happy retirement, Jim!
  • Gran Turismo 7
  • Marvel's Spider-Man 2
  • God of War Ragnarok
  • TLOU Part II
  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
  • Destiny 2

Last year they did a similar one for Shuhei Yoshida, but the 3D model wasn't that good:

A homage to the most successful console maker CEO in gaming history for his retirement after 30 years of service. Where he also had a key role making Europe the top PS market to the point of highly growing overal the console market during the PS1/PS2 era.
