Possibility Space was the first of Prytania Media's studios, announced in October of 2021 with a stated commitment of "creating world-class games within safe and ethical work environments" and looking to hire people from marginalized communities.

Open for three years, produced no games.
Making games in safe and ethical environments.
Hire people from marginalized communities.
Mad that info of the game leaked to the press.

I'm going to hop, skip and jump to a conclusion that this game was woke garbage and with the SBI happenings, the company decided to cancel the project.

A worker from the dev studio leaks confidential info of the publisher: In response, the publisher stops funding the project, and the studio has to shut down because that was their only revenue source.

Yes, it's perfectly likely.

Open for three years, produced no games.
Games normally take more than 3 years to be made.

Austin Walker was a game journalist prior who worked for places like Giant Bomb and such. Boy, talk about irony.
