Your guys are saying @Vertigo is a hater and everybody knows here he was one of that most hyped the game and played it since day one with very fair points of what he liked and what he didn’t like… but he is a hater just because he said that the game after launch dropped off from all public charts

If you guys really are so defensive about that why not come with discuss with us about the game in OT… you know people that really plays the game.

We did our part… we brought the game day one… the game sales are not what the previous games sold because people choose not to buy it… so you should aim these as haters lol

I liked FF16 but there is absolutely 0 chance it, or GTA V, sniff top 5 this year, I highly doubt either of them even hit top 10. Also Hogwarts sold 15 million by May and continues to chart in the top 5 every single month. There is also zero chance FF16 sells more than FIFA/EA FC this year, that game sells like 10m units every year. FF16 will be down around 5m.

Selling well like previous FFs? Whoever said it sold like previous FFs? Not me, FF15 sold well because it had almost an entire decade of hype and marketing behind it, excitement was through the roof for that game and sadly it was GARBAGE. It was so underwhelming that it ruined the perception of the series for years to come, thankfully FF16 is amazing and undoing all the negative stigma that 15 created, but it's still an uphill battle. Same with FF7Remake, I bet Rebirth will be one of the best selling games next year.

Jedi survivor launched in april and was already beating jedi fallen order in the launch window. It was #3 in may npd and was only behind totk and hogwarts. Just a reminder fallen order sold 8m in its first 3 months. There is 0 chance ff16 outsells it.

Final Fantasy sold more than RE even if you don't count the FF games released before the first RE game.

As of today FF sold over 180M, RE 146M. A difference of 34M.

The first RE was released in March 1996, a year before FFVII. The FF games released before FFVII sold way less than 34M.

These charts don't mean a shit, they are only a tiny portion of the digital + retail global sales. Only the total numbers reported by the company show the complete picture.

Yes, Mario games sell very well. Specially the ones massively bundled during many years and/or when that console doesn't have any other super seller game released during that Christmas period, as seems is going to be the case.

Oh, now I’m definitely a hater. It’s pretty goddamn terrible. Have no problem saying FF16 is trash despite what the kool-aid drinkers think. I’m done with square. Half-assed ugly game. Glad to see it underperform. I’m done talking about it outside this name drop.
