Definitely, if you buy a pro, it would be the first thing you'd be looking for.
I think they should have a list of games that will get a pro mode too... Like a coming soon list.
This is helpful because people will want to know which games are enhanced for the new system. It would also make sense for recently announced and pre-order games to be included, so customers don’t have to wonder before making a purchase

Crazy that studios aren't more forthcoming with their roadmaps. So many people buy games just to put in their back catalog so they don't forget about them. They're likely to do it at a higher price today.
You make judgement calls on games you're going to buy and if you don't realize a game is getting updated in the future, you might put funds towards something else.
I guess there is a possibility people won't buy the game until the patch comes out who might otherwise would have purchased it, but if they're pro gamers, they're probably going to buy it regardless.

Many games do indeed... Like for example GTA V, Tekken 8, Resident Evil 7 etc.
