As someone who had both and kept the Quest 3, I disagree. Pancake lenses are better then fresnel. The OLED didnt wow me as much as I thought. So I made a decision based on pros and cons. PSVR2 was the victim. Since both have foveated rendering, this wasnt a deciding factor.
The deciding factor was the portability of the Quest. You can put it in a bag and take it with you and play. PSVR2 is missing this huge advantage.
