Maybe PC players just aren't into this type of game generally?
Sony should port Bloodborne and Demon's Souls. That community lives on PC.

9k is 1.5x higher than Hi-fi Rush which according to a certain fanbase was a big success.
Sony should stop giving them anything outside of GaaS where they can't pirate it and can nicke and dime them as well. That's all they deserveMaybe PC players just aren't into this type of game generally?

Always convenient excuses every time a game flops, “not our type of game”, “bad marketing”, “bad port”, “should’ve ported the original games first THEN it would’ve done better”Maybe PC players just aren't into this type of game generally?

What are the negative consequences for Playstation to release a 2 year old game on PC?
Is it just a feeling that less people will buy the game on console on release?
In the example of Ratchet and Clank, let's say the sales are low on PC, where is the lost revenue?
Honestly, please someone enlighten me.
I'm not trying to make excuses. I don't care how well sony games sell because I have no interest in them. I'm guessing most others feel the same as evidenced by the sales.Always convenient excuses every time a game flops, “not our type of game”, “bad marketing”, “bad port”, “should’ve ported the original games first THEN it would’ve done better”
PlayStation is home of Souls games, the only platform that can play them all, and Elden Ring sold best on PlayStation
They bought nixxes for this purpose. It's not like they're porting the game to totally different hardware.Using resources that could have been used elsewhere
You are in denial. Their games are mostly flopping and selling less than some mildly hyped indie. Sony PC strategy is one of the dumbest things they have ever done, absolutely no understanding of the PC market or even PlayStation fans.People should stop worrying about launch sales on PC.
On PC, in order to have massive launch sales, you need to be an established franchise with a huge following. Sony games are literally not that. To judge success on PC you need to wait until the 2nd or 3rd installment, and look at the long tail sales.
That said, certain games and genres aren't going to do well. Action platformers aren't a big draw on pc.
Just think about it, if you are into AAA single player type games and yet you chose PC as your main platform odds are you are a pirate. Sony should only release online games on PC.Honestly, why the low numbers for quality games? I understand piracy but it can't be that bad, can it?

Which mildly hyped indie? Also I don't disagree, Sony doesn't seem to have a clue on how to attract PC audience. You are in denial. Any flavor of the month indie will get this type of sales on PC or better, these numbers are putrid.Which mildly hyped indie? Also I don't disagree, Sony doesn't seem to have a clue on how to attract PC audience.
Well R&C is $60, a FotM indie is typically $20. So apples and oranges.Any flavor of the month indie will get this type of sales on PC or better, these numbers are putrid.
