Fun game with good shooting and power-ups etc, need to see a lot more of the classes though to see how diverse they are in terms of mechanics.

I think the game will really shine with its art direction, I think they are particularly good in some of their settings.

One thing I will say though is, I saw way to much purple in one of the videos, not my favorite color.

I will be totally honest in saying I wish this was a total single-player experience like the dishonored formula just with the vampire setting.

I don't think it's going to be as bad as people are thinking. Gamepass or not.

just wanted to mention since the disc thread was closed, the entire web was running with the story as it was posted by bethesda themselves that it would be a download code. Their bad, not mine.

they could even just be damaging controlling after all the outrage and slipping a disc in at the last minute.

Awful graphics, annoying voiceovers, flimsy-looking combat - looks shite. Thought Arkane were better than this

it's a very good developer, and should be solid enough.

As long as Microsoft has not had any input in forcing them to release the game early it should sit fine on review scores.

Personally it looks more like a stress test than a beta to me

Looks okay-ish, can see this scoring in the Killing Floor 2 range. Just can't shake the feeling that the gameplay looks incredibly average. The shooting and gunplay still seem very off to me.

Meh. I never understood whats so special about Arkane tbh. The only Arkane game I truly enjoyed was the original Dark Messiah on PC back in the old days.

I never played Dishonored, and the game's style just wasn't my cup of tea. Never understood why Deathloop got such high scores either. Redfall is the only most interesting thing they have going right now as far as the thematic goes. But other than that, I don't think the game will do well. I'll give it a shot, but I don't think it will last.

The marketing for the game was poorly done from the get go. It could still do well critically if it reviews better than we think, but that doesn't mean it will sell either. How much Deathloop even sell despite its critically success?

I don't mind the co-op aspect since I can play fully solo with no AI companions like I do in Division 2 and Outriders. Didn't notice the huge amount of purple. Character wise, im using the guy that throws that cross on the ground that shocks/freezes enemies. I think his name is Devinder but may be mixing him up with the Sniper/Crow guy.

If you haven't, do give Prey (2017) a shot.

It's among my top games of the PS4/XBO generation. It's basically the PS4 era Bioshock/System shock game we never got.
